A great writer once penned, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing's going to get better, it's not." (Dr. Seuss)

The Friends of the Pea Ridge Community Library care a lot about our library and making it even better than it already is. We know you care, too, and your support has made a difference. Thank you for shopping our Valentine's gift basket sale and making it a success. Thank you also to the businesses that generously donated things to the cause; Sonic, Subway, O'Reilly's, Northridge Oils Co, Cannonball Cafe and Wallflower Farm Cottage Flower Shop (all from Pea Ridge), and other individual Friends of the Library. With funds raised from the gift basket sale, the Friends were able to supply the library with a number of their wish list items, including new tables and chairs, which you may have noticed.

Coming in March, the Friends of the Library will be teaming up with the Teen Advisory Board to raise money for a Movie License that the Library and local youth have requested. This will allow the library greater opportunities to enrich our community. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 24 , a photographer will be set up at Wallflower Cottage Shop to take pictures of cute kiddos with real, live, cuddly bunnies for Easter.Don't miss out; it's going to be adorable!

I'll end now with another quote from Dr Seuss to inspire us all, "You can find magic wherever you look, sit back and relax, all you need is a book." Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss (March 2).
