Pea Ridge Lions Club

The Pea Ridge Lions Club will offer free vision screenings for those in attendance at NEBCO's 14th annual Chili Cook Off on Feb. 24, 2018, at the NEBCO Fire-EMS Building, 14639 S. Wimpy Jones Rd., Garfield.

Lions Club members will be on sight with a vision analyzer and be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the capability to screen both adults and children.

Vision screenings provides the opportunity for early detection of vision loss or other vision problems. Approximately 80 percent of all visual impairments can be prevented or cured if detected soon enough. The vision analyzer can identify those at risk of vision loss, and with a timely visit to an eye professional, in most cases sight can be improved or saved.

The Lions Club will also collect eyeglasses, so please bring along any eyeglasses that you no longer have a use for. The Lions Club will pass them along and someone in need will be blessed to receive them.
