Library has advanced technology

Hello, Pea Ridge friends.

I hope you all are well and enjoying the cooler weather that this wonderful fall season brings. We are definitely in the school swing of things around the library. We have a great set of volunteers coming in from the Middle School to help.

I have some very sad news though. Dear Katie Young, who has been here over a year and has brought so much to this library, is leaving. Katie and her family are moving away. It is bittersweet to see her leave and move on to the next adventure. She is an amazing librarian and has a strong passion for all types of literature.

Please come by the library and say farewell before Sept. 30. With that being said, we are taking applications for a part-time librarian who is flexible and willing to work most Saturdays.

We have made some beautiful changes around the library. You will be very surprised as you walk in. Come in and check it out.

The Pea Ridge Community Library is live with Overdrive now. You can easily read and listen to books with your library card. We have wonderful information pamphlets for your Apple, Android or Google Chrome media system.

Please don't forget as the holidays get closer and closer that we have a beautiful community room available for you to rent for all types of celebrations.
