Tuesday, Oct. 10

1:40 p.m. Hunter Logan Terry, 23, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from Little Flock while at Pea Ridge court.

1:30 p.m. Sean Paul Smith, 30, Rogers, was arrested on a warrant for contempt fail to pay fines and costs while at Pea Ridge Court. He was also charged on a contempt of court warrant from Rogers.

Wednesday, Oct. 11

A 16-year-old male of Pea Ridge was charged with unauthorized use of a motor-vehicle.

10:15 a.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Gen. Franz Sigel and Mary Phelps for a suspicious male walking between houses. Police arrested Skyllar Maddox Acuff, 18, Springdale, for possession of Sch. VI with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for probation violation.

3:39 p.m. Police were notified that a child had been hit by a vehicle on North Curtis Avenue; an 8-year-old boy was reported to have been riding his bicycle in the area when he was hit. He was examined by emergency personnel and not transported. The driver of the vehicle said the child seemed to fall into her vehicle then fell into the grass. A witness reported the child lost control of his bike and fell into the vehicle. The child was released to his parent.

Thursday, Oct. 12

A 15-year-old male of Garfield was charged with third-degree battery.

3:35 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on West Pickens Road, police arrested Cody L. Watson, 21, Rocky Comfort, Mo., for driving on a suspended driver's license.

Friday, Oct. 13

10:07 a.m. Police were dispatched to Chapman for a report of an abandoned vehicle -- a 16-foot flatbed trailer full of roofing material. The trailer, deemed a road hazard, was towed by Erwin Wrecker and impounded.

9:33 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Angela M. Crum, 42, Rogers, for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and driving with a headlight out. The drugs were found as a result of a "free air sniff of the vehicle" with the police dog. Two syringes were found, one in her purse and the other beneath a seat.

Sunday, Oct. 15

2:08 p.m. A resident of Doering Circle reported a black dog running loose in the area. Police requested the resident transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

6:15 p.m. A resident of Gen. Franz Sigel reported harassing communications from a ex-girlfriend via text messages and Facebook messenger. The investigation is pending.

Monday, Oct. 16

No time given -- 16-year-old male of Pea Ridge charged with third-degree battery

9:45 a.m. A resident of East Harris Street reported that her wallet had been stolen at the football game on Oct. 13. She said the wallet was in a diaper bag that was also missing, but later returned without the wallet.

1:19 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Hayden Road, police arrested Kirk Kovach, 56, Garfield, for driving on a suspended driver's license; Karl W. Gilbert, 61, Pea Ridge, on a Pea Ridge warrant; and John Kenneth Durossette, 44, Purdy, Mo., on several outstanding warrants.

10:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Davis Street for a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Dewey Wayne Dover, 45, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery, disorderly conduct for recklessly creating a risk o public alarm by engaging in fighting and endangering the welfare of a minor in the third degree for recklessly engaging in conduct that created a substantial risk of serious harm to the physical or mental welfare of a person known to be a minor. The Arkansas Child Abuse and Neglect hotline was contacted.

Wednesday, Oct. 18

1:55 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Michael Shane Paxton, 33, Rogers, for driving on a suspended driver's license, a Pea Ridge warrant, no proof of insurance and intent to defraud a drug or alcohol chemical test; and Albert Trent Harless, 59, Rogers, for obstructing governmental operations and on a Benton County warrant.

5:30 p.m. As a result of an investigation at a residence on McRae Lane, police arrested David Hartsfield, 36, Pea Ridge, for on warrants from Pea Ridge, Little Flock, Bentonville and Rogers.

6:41 p.m. A resident of West Pickens Street reported a 13-year-old female missing and had possibly run away. On Oct. 19, police were notified that the girl had shown up for school.

11:28 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on West Pike Street for a disturbance with weapons involved. As a result of the investigation, police arrested James Patrick Rust, 30, Garfield, for four counts of felony aggravated assault on a family or household member; third-degree domestic battering; third-degree assault on a family or household member; and four counts of felony first-degree terroristic threatening. Three guns were found and confiscated as well as ammunition. Two guns were given to their owner.

Thursday, Oct. 19

7:19 a.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Arkansas Highways 72 and 94 for a no injury accident involving a hit and run. Arthur Lee Davis, 44, Cassville, Mo., reported a gray Ford Ranger had been east bound as he was west bound and the vehicle turned left in front of him hitting his vehicle. The driver of the Ford did not stop.

4:20 p.m. A resident of West Pickens Road reported a 13-year-old female missing. On Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. the school resource officer was notified that the girl was a runaway. She was found in class.

7:02 p.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborhood Market for a trespasser. As a result of the investigation, police cited Tommy L. France, 67, Pea Ridge, for criminal trespass.
