Friday, Oct. 20

1:54 p.m. Police were notified of an irate motorcyclist on Ark. Highway 72 and initiated a traffic stop on the driver. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Fred N. Veloz, 59, Bentonville, for DWI, refusal to submit to chemical tests, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver's license for DWI and no motorcycle endorsement.

11:43 p.m. Police were notified of a reckless driver eastbound on Ark. Hwy. 72. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Cristian R. Soto-Cruz, 30, Pea Ridge, for DWI, driving left of center, refusal to submit and felony possession of meth or cocaine more than 2 grams but less than 10 grams.

Saturday, Oct. 21

A 16-year-old male was arrested for aggravated assault on family member, third-degree domestic battery, terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct; he was taken to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

Sunday, Oct. 22

1:30 p.m. A resident of Fort Scott, Kan., reported he lost a wallet at O'Reilly's in Pea Ridge. He said that he made a purchase there and later realized his wallet was missing. At 4:20 p.m. the same day, the man called to say the wallet had been found.

Monday, Oct. 23

7:26 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Spruce Street for a report of a 71-year-old female not breathing. The coroner was notified.

2:22 p.m. As a result of an investigation, police arrested Joshua D. Clinton, 41, Pea Ridge, for felony possession of meth or cocaine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, Oct. 24

1:49 p.m. While performing a "free air sniff" in the parking lot at court, Napo, the Pea Ridge Police Department dog, alerted on a vehicle belonging to Justin Foltz, who gave permission to search his vehicle. A green metal pipe with burnt marijuana inside was found. Foltz, 29, Rogers, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

11:53 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Christopher T. Rogers, 42, Van Buren, for possession of Sch. VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3:17 p.m. William Joe Mobley, 31, Pea Ridge, was arrested for driving on a suspended driver's license after police saw him driving.

Thursday, Oct. 26

11:45 a.m. Police were notified of a dog taken to the Pea Ridge Vet by a resident who had found the dog at the school. At 4:35 p.m., the owner, Stephen Rosser, claimed the dog. Rosser, 27, Pea Ridge, was cited for animal at large.

2:21 p.m. Police were requested to assist an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officer at a residence on Rains Street. As a result of the investigation, police and Game and Fish arrested William Allen Lucas, 32, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance Sch. VI, possession of drug paraphernalia and seized a baggie of marijuana weighing 9.4 grams. Lucas was also arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Friday, Oct. 27

9:57 am. Police were dispatched to a residence on Richards Street for a report of a theft of a wallet containing cash from a vehicle. At 8:15 p.m., the complainant reported the wallet was returned to a relative minus the cash. She said it was apparently taken while she was parked in Rogers and told police she filed a report with the Rogers Police.

Sunday, Oct. 29

5:01 p.m. Police arrested Justin K. Lindsey, 35, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance and speeding as the result of a traffic stop.
