Sunday, May 21

6:48 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop prompted by seeing a vehicle parked in a fire lane while the driver was at the movie rental box, police cited Kenneth James Spearman, 33, Rogers, for possession of drug paraphernalia, expired driver's license and parking in a fire lane.

7:59 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Christina Ann Young, 30, Pea Ridge, possession of a controlled substance and obstruction of governmental operations.

10:43 p.m. A 49-year-old male of Pea Ridge reported being beaten up he was treated by emergency medical personnel from the Fire-EMS Department. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, May 22

3:12 p.m. Police arrested Ja'lynn Beverly Mayes, 21, Bentonville, on warrants for failure to pay time pay, and Sydney Michelle Barnes, 19, Bentonville, for driving on a suspended driver's license.

4:44 p.m. A resident of Hayden Road reported theft of medication from her residence.

8:05 p.m. Police took a report of a motor-vehicle accident at the intersection of Slack and Weston streets involving vehicles driven by Deborah Bollinger, 56, Pea Ridge, and Maurice Upton, 51, Bella Vista.

Tuesday, May 23

5:23 a.m. A resident of Robins Street reported a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Jake L. Meredith, 30, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a Rogers warrant and issued a warning for criminal trespass for the residence on Robins Street.

9:55 a.m. Police received a report that the sign that holds permits and a rain meter had been vandalized repeatedly.

9:55 p.m. Police received a report of an animal at large at a residence on Nemett Circle. The reporting party said the dog kept trying to get into the house. The dog's owner, Sasha Eastwood, 22, Pea Ridge, was located and cited for animal at large.

Wednesday, May 24

12:01 a.m. A resident of Robins Street reported Jake Meredith had kicked in the back door and was in the house. He had been warned about trespassing the previous day. Meredith, 30, was arrested for criminal trespassing and for first degree criminal mischief for breaking the back door. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

12:54 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop for no seat belt, police cited John David Gates, 46, Springdale, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of rug paraphernalia and no seat belt.

11:02 p.m. Police received a report of a vehicle leaving the roadway and striking trash cans that had been set out for trash pickup. The investigating officer determined the driver was a juvenile. There was no damage to trash cans or structures.
