Howard Slinkard, his daughter, Allison Krieger, and grandson, Conrad, enjoy Allison's new book "Howard and the Wompoopus." Slinkard was city attorney for the city of Pea Ridge since 1975 and retired this year. His stories to his children inspired his daughter to write "Howard and the Wompoopus" -- a children's book available on Amazon. Krieger (a native of Rogers) and her family live in Washington state and were in Rogers for a visit.
