Memorial dedication
to follow downtown
Veterans will be honored at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday in the Pea Ridge High School gymnasium. Guest speaker will be Dennis Cherry, Colonel, USAF-Retired.
All veterans are invited to the ceremony.
On Saturday, at 1 p.m., there will be a veterans parade followed by a dedication ceremony of the new Veterans Memorial downtown. Stones with names of veterans were placed this past week as members of Post 8109 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Kenneth Craig, senior vice-commander, said he is still seeking entries for the annual Veterans parade planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.
