Northwest Arkansas Community College

Several Pea Ridge students were among the 177 high school students recognized recently by Northwest Arkansas Community College as Rising Scholars for having excelled in college classes at NWACC.

High school students can take NWACC classes on the NWACC campus, through the Early College Experience program, or through the Northwest Technical Institute Secondary Career Center. Graduating high school seniors must maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average.

Pea Ridge Manufacturing and Business Academy: Courtney Bell, Levi Brown, Amber Harmon, Alexus Losey, Tristan Mackey, Mariana Soto and Riley Vojdani.

Pea Ridge Public School: Bryce Beckmann, Kaylin Brouhard, Nicole Henson, Lorrie Klein, Ashtyn Mondy, Shelby Morgan, Katelyn Ralph, Allie Van Houden and Rebecca Woods.

To be recognized as an Early College Experience School, 10 percent or more of the students participating in the NWACC Early College Experience program must be recognized as NWACC Rising Scholars.

Both Pea Ridge Manufacturing and Business Academy and Pea Ridge High School were among the high schools recognized in May.
