Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church

Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church Senior Citizen Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. every Thursday; cost is $3. Dinners are prepared at Bentonville Senior Center and brought to the church. Reservations required. Call 479-359-3772 by Wednesday.

Angel's Share food pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the second Saturday of each month at 1300 N. Davis St.

The Ridge Community Church

Celebrate Friendship at the Ridge will be Sunday, May 22. Services are at 9 and 11 a.m. Food, fellowship and fun will follow at the city park at 1 p.m. There will be brisket and pulled pork sandwiches with all the fixins. There will be bouncy houses for the children and other activities. All is free.

New Life Christian Church

New Life Christian Church offers three Sunday worship services; they are at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. New Life Kids for infants through fifth grade has programming at all services.

The Student Ministry will host a spaghetti dinner and dessert auction on Sunday, May 22. It will be held at Ambassadors for Academy, 8579 W. Ford Spring Road, Bentonville (near Walgreens). Tickets are $5 per person, or $20 per family. Tickets can be purchased in the church office or at the door. All proceeds will go toward the teens' summer Christ In Youth Conference. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Engage for students sixth through 12th grades meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church. The café is open from 5 to 8 p.m.

An Embrace Grace Support Group will meet 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the church. This group is a ministry to all girls with unplanned pregnancies. For information, contact the church office at 479-855-1616.

Summer XP "Walk this Way" Vacation Bible School will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. June 26-30. This is open to all children 3 years old through those going into sixth grade. Register at newlifenwa.com.

Little Sprouts preschool is accepting enrollment for the fall school year. This Christian-based preschool is open to children 3- to 5-years-old. For a tour of the facility and meet the director, contact 479-855-1616.
