Granny's Quilts of Love
Granny's Quilts of Love met April 19 at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. We had 18 members in attendance.
The ladies cut quilt kits. To date, Granny's members have made 21,955 quilts, 5,891 hats and 5,883 pillows. The quilts are donated to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, to give a critically ill child a little joy.
We will reach a new goal of 22,000 quilts by our next meeting. We will celebrate this milestone. Congratulations to everyone for their continuous help and support to make this possible.
Our next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. May 17 in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge. We will also be cutting more quilt kits.
