Pea Ridge Blackhawk track athletes gathered to get on the bus to go to Nashville, Ark., for the state track meet. Events were set for Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. for the weigh in and coaches meeting followed by discuss and shot put at 10:30 a.m. and running events beginning shortly after noon. Students competing at state include: Vanessa Wing, Ashtyn Mondy, Jennifer Alexander, Shelby Dunlap, Hannah Means, Jacob Edwards, Ryan Jackson, Jacob Torres, Hunter Shackelford, Ryan Higgins, Trevor Henry, Cooper Elliot, Shaed Cates and Connor Escajeda. Not pictured are Avery Dayberry and Kieara Bryant.
