Tuesday, July 5

1:17 p.m. A resident of Henry Little Circle reported theft of a silver push scooter. A witness reported seeing two juveniles take the scooter. Police found the 14-year-old male suspect and the scooter. The scooter was returned, the youth apologized to the property owner and the incident was reported to the Juvenile Court system.

Thursday, July 7

9:01 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of West Pickens Road and Charles Street where a resident reported she almost hit a dog that ran out in front of her. The dog, a blue heeler, was found and the owner, Stephen Rosser, 26, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

Friday, July 8

9:14 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a possible violation of an order of protection. As a result of the investigation, Lily Morgan, 75, Centerton, was given a warning to not be on the property in question.

11:58 a.m. A resident of Bentonville reported illegal dumping on a property he owns on Washburn Street.

1:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to Weston Street for a resident who had caught a stray dog. The dog was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. At 4:20 p.m. Kathy Rice, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog saying it was scared of storms and had jumped the fence due to the storm.

Saturday, July 9

2:30 p.m. Police picked up a dog at City Park and placed it in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

2:41 p.m. A resident on Greer Street found a stray dog and turned it over to police. It was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

4:06 p.m. While on regular patrol, police observed a vehicle on the side of the roadway on West Pickens Road west of St. Clair Street with damage. The driver of the vehicle, Kayla Scarpa, 26, Bella Vista, said she had accidentally hit a dog that ran in front of her vehicle and the dog was lying in the nearby ditch. Police found the injured animal. The owner took possession of the dog.

7:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to East Pickens Road for a stray dog. It was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

9:23 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Van Dorn Street for a report of an intoxicated male banging on windows of the house and wearing a gun on his side. The suspect was found, passed out, in a nearby residence wearing an empty holster, but no gun. He was advised to stay inside.

Sunday, July 10

7:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Van Dorn Street for a disturbance involving a male "banging on the door and windows of the residence since 6 a.m. The suspect reported he was trying to retrieve a handgun he had left at the residence the night before. The reporting party said there was no gun left at the residence. Police searched and did not find the handgun.

7:45 a.m. A resident of Van Dorn reported a a Hi-Point .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun missing and possibly stolen. At 1:55 p.m. police were informed the reporting party found the gun he reported missing.
