Friday, July 29

10:32 p.m. Police were asked to locate Jordan Leos, 18, who is on probation from Benton County Juvenile Office. An ankle monitor revealed he was in Pea Ridge, although he was not supposed to leave Rogers. Later, at 2:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a report of a handgun found in a backpack belonging to Leos. A Taurus .24-caliber pistol with the serial number removed was found. It was loaded, with a round in the chamber and the safety off. The gun was taken placed in evidence. As a result of the investigation, it was learned the gun was one of two stolen from a residence in Rogers where Leos had recently stayed. The guns were reported stolen on July 30. Leos was charged with felony theft by receiving, felony possession of a defaced firearm and second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.

Saturday, July 30

7:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Wood Street for a disturbance no longer in progress. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Robert James Starner, 33, Garfield, for third-degree domestic battery and first degree assault, and Hailey Starner, 28, Pea Ridge, third degree domestic battery and first degree assault.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

7:45 a.m. Police received a report of criminal mischief at Big Sugar Golf Course involving someone driving on the course causing damage to the grass. There were tire marks in a circular motion found; damage was estimated at $1,000.

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a possible overdose. The subject, a 56-year-old female, had reportedly taken an unknown amount of prescription pills. She was transported to Northwest Medical by Pea Ridge Fire Department.

7:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch for a report of two skateboards. The skateboards were reportedly valued at $275 and $350.

Wednesday, Aug. 3

9 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Todd Circle for a report of dogs running loose in the neighborhood. As a result of the investigation, the owner, Jennifer Cole, was located for one of the two dogs. She was cited for dog at large and the dog was returned to her.

Thursday, Aug. 4

6:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Buck Cove for a report of a box trailer being broken into. Upon arrival, the caller said someone broke in his trailer and stole tools. The lock was still in place on the front passenger side door and the latch broken off. Tools reported stolen included a chop saw, an air compressor, an extension cord, three nail guns, a router and drills.

9:33 a.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborhood for reports of shoplifting.

10:30 a.m. A resident of Grace Court reported a riding lawn mower stolen. He said it had happened in May and his insurance required him to have a police report.

Friday, Aug. 5

6:01 a.m. Police were dispatched to South Harvey Wakefield Drive for a 2-year-old boy found walking on the street with no one else around. His residence was found on Mary Phelps Drive and both adults were asleep.

10:58 p.m. Police received a report of suspicious circumstances at Big Sugar Golf Course involving two unknown subjects on an all-terrain vehicle on the course. As a result of the investigation, police found and towed a pickup truck which was apparently used to tow the ATV to the golf course area.

Saturday, Aug. 6

11:31 a.m. Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident around the intersection of Carr Street and Lynn Street involving a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female who said she swerved the vehicle to avoid hitting a squirrel. The vehicle traveled off the road and struck and crushed a culvert.

10:42 p.m. Police were dispatched to Big Sugar Golf Club for a criminal trespassing report. As a result of the investigation, including night vision equipment, police located two four-wheelers parked in the creek east of the Peck Road bridge and found two suspects. Guy D. Wilson-Drillinger, 24, Rogers, and Michael C. Keeland, 20, Rogers, were each cited for criminal trespassing.

Sunday, Aug. 7

6 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Tyler Jackson, 22, Garfield, for possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended driver's license, and on an active warrant out of Barry County. He was also cited for driving without insurance and disobeying a stop sign.

4:03 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of McCulloch and Dodge streets for a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Leonard Dale Ringwald, 32, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery for kicking a female.
