Pea Ridge Jr. Blackhawks beat Berryville Jr. Bobcats

From Staff Reports

Junior Pea Ridge Blackhawks defeated junior Berryville Bobcats Thursday night.

Tate Busey had a huge 60-plus yard run down to the 1 and Carson Rhine punched it one play later. Rhine had a big kickoff return for a touchdown before half time that was really needed.

"We went into half time down and if we don't have that play, we are in a lot of trouble," coach Cody Alexander said.

Payton Galbraith got in on a reverse for the 2-point play. Berryville had the lead until about a 1:30 minutes left in the game.

"We finally put it all together and marched one for touchdown," Alexander said.

Carson Rhine got in the endzone again for his third of the game. Berryville scored again after a big pass play got them down inside the 10. They were going for the win on the 2-point play and Adam Trammell made a huge tackle keeping them short of the goal line. They then got the onside kick and we had to hold them out the last 30 seconds to get the win.

Blake Beville had another huge game on the defensive and offensive line.
