Granny's Quilts of Love

For the regular meeting in September, club members had a celebration luncheon as a thank you to all members for the hard work through out the year and at the annual dinner and auction in August. A big thank you to Marcia Graham and her husband John, and Winona Woods for all their time and work putting the luncheon together.

The total number of quilts made is 20,738, caps 4,523 and pillows 5,437 all for the children at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Granny's Quilts of Love is recruiting women to join to sew quilts for the children at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Club members can help give a sick child a little joy and comfort in a crucial time of their life. Granny's furnishes all the materials to make the quilts. Prospective members are welcome to visit at the next meeting.

The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church located at 1300 N. Davis St. in Pea Ridge.
