Weekly senior luncheon
GARFIELD -- All seniors are invited to attend a weekly Thursday luncheon at 11:30 a.m at Brightwater United Methodist Church, 14108 E. U.S. Hwy. 62. Food is prepared at the Bentonville Senior Center and brought to the church. The cost is $3. Call 479-359-3772 for reservations no later than Wednesday. You do not have to be a member of the church nor attend any church to be served. All are welcome.
Free Flu Shots
GARFIELD -- Free flu shots are offered for Garfield residents ages 18-64.
Shots will be offered from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, by Mercy Mobile Health Unit will be at Garfield City Hall, 14655 S. Wimpy Jones Rd.
Free flu shots are intended for Garfield residents, ages 18-64, with limited financial resources or limited access to transportation.
Registration and identification will be required, but flu shots will be provided at no cost.
The service is by Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas.
