Monday, May 11

7:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to a motor-vehicle accident on Hoffman and Van Dorn. As a result of the investigation, Robert Scott Monroe, 59, Pea Ridge, was cited for failure to stop.

8:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Barnes Circle for a disturbance. No charges were filed.

9:59 a.m. Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hoffman and Van Dorn streets involving vehicles driven by Melanie G. Brantley, 33, Pea Ridge, and Robert Scott Monroe, 59, Pea Ridge. Monroe was cited for failure to stop.

4:09 p.m. Dispatched to a residence on Sugar Creek Road for an unresponsive person. An adult male was found dead from a self-inflected gunshot wound.

Tuesday, May 12

10:13 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Barnes Circle for a disturbance.

11 a.m. A resident of Richards Street turned in a mixed-breed dog found in the city. It was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

11:14 a.m. Police captured two dogs on McIntosh Street and took them to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

3:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on It'll Do Road for an aggressive stray dog. The reporting party said the dog had attacked her son and would not let them back in the house. The dog was captured and taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

5:36 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Greer Street for a welfare check. A 70-year-old female was found deceased.

Wednesday, May 13

7:40 a.m. While working school traffic, police saw and captured a stray dog, tan-colored male Pit bull. It was impounded at Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Thursday, May 14

9:55 a.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported that sometime between 7 p.m. May 12 and 6 a.m. May 13 someone stole a speaker from his pickup truck which was parked at his residence.

5:25 p.m. A resident of Schrader Road reported that sometime between 7:30 p.m. the previous night and 8 a.m. May 14 someone had broken into their residence which is under construction and stolen a TV, an XBox and several games. The incident is under investigation.

6:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to Dollar General Store for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, it was determined the incident reported happened in the county; it was turned over to a Benton County Sheriff's deputy.

Friday, May 15

11 a.m. A resident of Mariano Road reported someone broke the passenger side tail light of her 2003 Honda Pilot while it was parked at Pea Ridge High School sometime between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

9 p.m. Police received an anonymous report of a possible disturbance at a residence on Todd Circle. The persons involved did not want to report anything. A report was filed with the Arkansas Children's Hotline concerning a youth involved in possible neglect.

Saturday, May 16

10:20 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a harassment. As a result of the investigation, police issued a verbal warning for harassment to Claudie Jackson Helmick, 43, Garfield.

11:14 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited a 17-year-old male juvenile of Pea Ridge for driving on a permit without a licensed driver.
