Tuesday, May 1

2:08 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Greer Street for a welfare check on the resident who was found deceased. The body of a white female, 70, was taken to the coroner's office. The incident is under investigation.

Wednesday, May 13

4:11 p.m. Police received a report of a "unresponsive" male who, upon investigation, was found to be deceased from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The 53-year-old male was found on the deck by a man mowing the lawn.

Tuesday, May 19

5:30 p.m. Police saw a person known to them as having a suspended driver's license, Jeremy Ramsey, 27, Pea Ridge, driving on South Curtis Avenue. Police were unable to catch him at that point as they were responding to another call. He was arrested at 2 p.m. May 27 for driving on a suspended driver's license.

Friday, May 22

10:44 a.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Middle School for a disturbance involving two students who had been involved in a fight. Both students were sent home.

4 p.m. Police were notified that Jeremy Ramsey, 27, Pea Ridge, as a sex offender, had been evicted from his residence, fired from his place of employment and failed to notify police of either, as is required by law.

4:47 p.m. Police were dispatched to the parking lot of a business for an unresponsive male slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Larry Beck, 58, Bella Vista, for DWI/actual control of the vehicle and refusal to submit to a breath test.

8:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hunter Drive for a verbal disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police issued a verbal trespass warning to Elizabeth Salmonsen, 45, Garfield.

Saturday, May 23

3:29 p.m. A resident of Garfield reported he lost his cell phone at the laundromat on Wednesday, May 20. At 4:50 p.m., police were notified by a resident of Bentonville had found the phone.

Sunday, May 24

12:35 p.m Police were dispatched to a residence on Greenwood Cove for a disturbance involving a woman destroying the residence with a baseball bat. As a result of the investigation, it was discovered there was no law broken and no damaged property.

Monday, May 25

11:15 a.m. Police received a report of a theft from the garage of a residence on John W. Montgomery.

6:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to Sonic Drive-In for a possible disturbance; a a result of the investigation, police issued a written trespass warning to Nickoli W. Davis, 18, Pea Ridge.

Tuesday, May 26

2 p.m. Police took Emily Bailey, 23, Bentonville, to Benton County Jail for a 10-day commit on order by Judge Ray Bunch.

2:27 p.m. A representative of Gravette Hospital notified police that a resident of Pea Ridge had attempted to fill prescription medication saying his medication was mixed in his wife's prescription medication bottles and had been confiscated by police upon her death.

2:21 p.m. A residence of Mitchell Street reported a German shepherd bit a man who entered the yard to do yard work. The man did not need medical attention and it was determined he entered the wrong yard.

3 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Drive for a disturbance involving a 14-year-old girl slamming a car door on her mother's ankle and being "out of control."

3:54 p.m. As a result of investigating a report of a reckless driver, police cited Noah Landis York, 18, Rogers, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:49 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Smith Street for a stray dog that had been there all day. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. It did bite the woman who picked it up. The dog's injuries were severe. The reporting parties spoke to the man who hit the dog but did not get a license plate number

Wednesday, May 27

9:20 a.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic for a report of a dog that had been purportedly deliberately hit by a car.

12:55 p.m. Police investigated an abandoned white van on Weston Loop. The vehicle was illegally parked (more than 18 inches from the curb) and towed to an impound lot.

6:07 p.m. A resident of Fayetteville reported a breaking and entering and vandalism to property on Kelly Lane. About 10 windows were broken and profane words were written on a board inside the building.

Thursday, May 28

8 a.m. A resident of McCulloch reported receiving threats.

2:30 p.m. A resident of Patton Street reported suspicious circumstance involving finding an unlocked door and the screen of a window.

5:19 p.m. A resident of Chapman Road reported both his and his neighbor's mailboxes had been run over. During the investigation, a resident of Chapman Drive stopped by and said she hit the mailboxes and she would repair them.

11:25 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a verbal disturbance. The resident said he confronted his roommate for stealing. During the investigation, police discovered one of the residents, Allen K. Hoskins, 54, Pea Ridge, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Johnson Police Department. He was taken to Rogers and transferred to a Johnson Police officer.

Friday, May 29

3:05 p.m. Police assisted State Police with a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Don McCallister Road and Arkansas Highway 94.

11:47 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported a 15-year-old girl who was one of several staying the night at her house with her daughter had left without permission. Another woman reported her teen-aged daughter is at a party at a residence on It'll Do Road and she wants her home. Police found both girls and returned them to their guardians.

Saturday, May 30

5 :50 a.m. A resident of Pea Ridge told police the license plate had been stolen off his vehicle.

10:20 a.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported three dogs standing in the roadway on Halleck Lane at Slack Street blocking traffic. Police found the dogs wandering Halleck Lane and found the owner,Troy A. Davidson, 38, Pea Ridge, who was given citations for three counts of dog at large and three counts of no city tags.

11 a.m. Police picked up a stray dog on McCulloch Street and took it to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

2:30 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported harassing communications involving a former employee texting her. Police called the suspect and told him to stop calling.

2:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to Ark. Hwy. 94 at the intersection with Green Street for a motor-vehicle accident involving Dawnitta Henson, 42, Pea Ridge, who reported she had hit a deer.

4:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Lee Town Road, police arrested Larita Robins, 40, Rogers, for numerous warrants and was wanted by Probation and Parole, and Clint Robins, 20, Rogers, on a warrant from Crawford County and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, May 31

12:53 p.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported hearing a gunshot and seeing males in a nearby yard shooting a handgun. Police cited Jarred E. Wilson, 24, Pea Ridge, for unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits.

3:11 p.m. A resident of Hazelton Road reported her neighbor's yard was flooding onto her yard.

3:39 p.m. Police were dispatched to a disturbance on Hickman Drive. While approaching the residence, police saw two suspects walking away and one began to run. Police pursued on foot. The suspect, Ricky Robinson, was caught and arrested. Robinson, 24, Rogers, was charged with third degree battering and fleeing.

4:47 p.m. A resident of Zachary Street reported a dog showed up at their house. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

5:57 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported a lady driving a white truck hit his vehicle in the Walmart parking lot then drove off.
