Ozark Geology Program

Arkansas Master Naturalist Denis Dean will present "Disappearing Ground: Karst, Sinkholes, Caves, and More," a program on the limestone geology of the Ozark Mountains, at noon Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History.

A retired attorney, Dean now spends his time presenting nature programs to schools classes, community groups, and state park visitors across the region. He was recently awarded the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality's 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award.
