Saturday, Jan. 3

3:01 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Mary Phelps Drive for a disturbance.

Sunday, Jan. 4

6:42 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Todd Circle for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Christopher Cole, 39, Pea Ridge, was arrested for third-degree domestic battery.

Monday, Jan. 5

1:29 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Charles Street for a disturbance.

11:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Green Street for a possibly robbery in progress and physical disturbance. The investigation revealed that a man and woman who were divorced from each other had been arguing. There were no arrests made.

1:59 p.m. A property owner on Peck Road reported a hunting blind on his property. The blind and stool were seized.

10:25 p.m. A resident of Benton Drive reported a 10-year-old boy showed up at his door with bags and telling him he was scared to go home. As a result of the investigation, the boy, who did not report physical or mental abuse, was returned to his home. He told police his father makes him do homework repeatedly when he has a bad grade on his report card.

Tuesday, Jan. 6

7:29 a.m. A report to suspicious circumstances led to the arrest of Nicole Dawn Gleason, 38, Pea Ridge, for DWI. The woman had juveniles in her car who were not wearing seatbelts. The children were transported to school by a police officer at her request.

6:24 p.m. An employee of CVT Towing reported someone had removed and taken the vehicle license plat from a vehicle they had impounded

Wednesday, Jan. 7

10:33 a.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported a gold ring missing. She reported a possible suspect.

Thursday, Jan. 8

6:46 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Charles Street for a disturbance. At that time, the suspect calmed down and police left the scene, but were called back at 10:24 a.m. for a report of a man possibly attacking a woman with a knife. As a result of the investigation, Derrick McGuire, 24, and Sheila McGuire, 29, both of Pea Ridge, were arrested for third-degree domestic battery.

7:59 a.m. A resident of Park Circle reported vandalism to items in his front yard. During an investigation of neighbors' yards, police found damaged mailboxes and other evidence.

4:50 p.m. Police received a call of a reckless driver who had also been following the reporting party and "flipping them off." The suspects were found in the Neighborhood Market and were profane and belligerent when questioned. After being detained and questioned, the suspects were released.

Friday, Jan. 9

10:15 a.m. The theft of three Stihl chain saws from the Pea Ridge Fire Department was reported after an inventory showed only one of four was in house.

10:18 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Watie Street for a report of an intoxicated female banging on the door, breaking in and starting a fight with a resident of the house. Mellissa Knobbe, 39, Gentry, was arrested for assault on a household or family member.

Sunday, Jan. 11

10:07 a.m. Police were dispatched to a hit-and-run motor-vehicle accident on Ark. Hwy. 72, which CENCOM originally happened at Jac's Ranch (outside the city limits) but was discovered to have occurred at the intersection of Weston and Slack streets. The reporting party said the driver of the vehicle had initially been driving north in the south-bound lane of North Curtis Avenue, then turned around and followed him through town before "ramming" his vehicle from behind, then fleeing at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle is described as a '90s model Ford Mustang, white in color with a brown top. Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to notify police at 451-8220.

8:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a reckless driver call and found the suspect vehicle. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Autumn Brewer, 19, Pea Ridge, for DWI, refusal to submit to test and careless and prohibited driving.
