Soccer Clinic well attended

Photograph submitted More than 50 children attended a soccer clinic Saturday held in the Pea Ridge schools indoor practice facility. It was sponsored by NWA Lightning Soccer Club. Coaches were Jeff Wagner, Victoria Johnson and Seth Bach. More than 150 children played this past fall. Foot skills, offensive and defensive skills as well as goalie skills were emphasized. The clinic was in collaboration with spring registration for Pea Ridge Soccer, a soccer league that plays in Pea Ridge. The first games of the season will be Saturday, April 11, at the First Baptist Church, Pea Ridge. There is also a high school club team that plays other NWA club teams.
