Granny's Quilts of Love
The 12th annual Dinner and Auction is coming up Aug. 29 to be held at Pea Ridge High School cafeteria. The dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m. and the auction will start around 6:30 p.m. The dinner will be pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, drinks and homemade desserts. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under and free for children under 2 years of age.
The total number of quilts has now reached 20,350 quilts donated to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 18 in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge. This will be the last meeting before our dinner and auction. All members need to attend so we can finalize our plans.
