Thursday, April 16

3:38 p.m. A resident of Weston Street reported a stray dog had been in his yard for a day. Police picked up the female, brindle colored terrier mix and took it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

4:33 p.m. Police were dispatched to Hayden Road for an animal lying in the road after being hit by a vehicle. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic; it later died. The owner contacted police. He retrieved the body.

6:46 p.m. Wrote a warning for trespassing to Emily Copp, 22, Pea Ridge, after an investigation into a harassment report from residents of North Davis Street.

Friday, April 17

2:02 p.m. Police were notified of a possible custody exchange for a 17-year-old girl to a relative who had reportedly previously sexually molested the girl. As a result of the investigation, police and the probation officer said the girl could stay in her current home.

3:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Blair Circle for a suspicious circumstance involving a male sitting on the side of the road with boxes. The man said he was doing vacuum cleaner demonstrations for his boss. As a result of the investigation, Chastity Obersteadt, 30, Fayetteville, was cited for violation of the city door-to-door sales ordinance.

8:57 p.m. Police received a report of theft from a resident of Wade Lane. The reporting party said $500 cash was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at Dollar General Store. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the information was not accurate. It was $120 that was stolen and may have been from several different locations.

Sunday, April 19

3:40 a.m. Police assisted Little Flock Police with a disturbance on Spring Cliff Loop.

9 a.m. Police picked up a brindle female boxer caught by a resident on Todd Circle. It was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The dog's owner, Charles Fletcher, 35, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog. He was cited for dog at large and no city tags.

Monday, April 20

7:13 a.m. Police conducted a no knock narcotics search warrant on a residence on West Harris Street. Two juveniles -- a 16-year-old female and a 17-year-old male -- were arrested for two felonies each: possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a level VI drug with intent to distribute. A sizable amount of narcotics were recovered as well as $830. (The juveniles were ultimately cited and released to their parent at the request of the Juvenile Detention Center.)

9:51 a.m. Police were dispatched to a business on North Curtis Avenue for a suspicious circumstance involving a baggie of a white crystal substance found in the store. The substance was determined to be methamphetamine.

Monday, April 20

9:51 a.m. Numerous credit cards were turned into police from a business owner on North Curtis Avenue. The cards were found in the store.

11:04 a.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Middle School for an unruly student. As a result of the investigation, a 14-year-old male from Pea Ridge was cited for disorderly conduct, issued a court date and released to his mother at the request of the Juvenile Detention Center.

4:03 p.m. Police were notified of an injured stray dog on Ark. Hwy. 94 near North Harvey Wakefield. The dog's owner was located and returned to the owner.

6:57 p.m. Police picked up a dog caught by a resident on John W. Montgomery. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Tuesday, April 21

6:05 p.m. A resident of Garfield reported he had been hit by a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. As a result of the investigation, police determined the driver did not hit the man, but that he hit the vehicle with his hand.

Wednesday, April 22

3:05 p.m. A business owner reported someone had cut a hole in his fence and possibly entered a vehicle on the lot. A Mercury Mountaineer which was locked was found unlocked.

Thursday, April 23

6:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Pace Lane for a stray male boxer that had been caught by a resident. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

7:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Weston Street for a stray dog found in a back yard. The dog was taken to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

9:45 p.m. Police arrested Aarisen Wright, 19, Pea Ridge, for a warrant for failure to appear and failure to pay fines and costs as well as possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited for a warrant from Rogers, then released.

Friday, April 24

12:10 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Joshua Martin, 29, Pea Ridge, for DWI/drugs.

3:30 p.m. A resident of King Lane apartments reported she she was abused by her former boyfriend while trying to move out of the apartment.

7:57 p.m. Police caught a large white dog on East Pickens and took it to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

11:57 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Slack Street, police arrested Emily A. Bailey, 23, Bentonville, for DWI/drugs, driving left of center and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, April 25

11:05 a.m. A resident of Linder Street reported a large tan colored dog running loose in the area. The owner, Kayla Moore, 31, Pea Ridge, was located and cited for animal at large.
