The TIMES of Northeast Benton County

"I am satisfied with the amount of funds we have available. We're far from broke. So long as we're working together, we won't have any financial problems." Those were the words of Tony Fletcher Jr., secretary/treasurer of the Pea Ridge School District 109 Board of Education, in response to a question from The Times about rumors being circulated in Pea Ridge that the school is in financial difficulty.

A petition signed by land owners on the west side of Arkansas Highway 94 from McClure Road north to the Brush Creek Hills south entrance, just north of Kimberly Lane, has asked the county to allow the area to be annexed to the City of Rogers. The area has been under consideration by the planning commission of Little Flock for annexation to that city.

A special meeting of the Little Flock City Council was called as a meeting of the council as a committee of the whole, Monday night, in efforts to isolate funding for provision of city marshal services.
