Tuesday, Oct. 14

8:48 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Curtis Avenue for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Michael David Vigil, 48, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery, and Jamie Dawn Smith, 37, Rogers, for third-degree domestic battery. Both were taken to Benton County Jail.

Wednesday, Oct. 15

11:30 a.m. Police were requested by Santa Rosa County, Fla., Sheriff's Office to locate Maranda Wilkinson, 33, Pea Ridge. Wilkinson was arrested on the Florida warrant for felony failure to appear/battery on an officer and booked into the Benton County Jail to await extradition.

1:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to a private property accident in Fred's pharmacy parking lot involving vehicles driven by Deborah D. Lakin, 58, Washburn, Mo., and Elda Jewell, 76, Washburn, Mo.

2:41 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot on South Curtis Avenue for a disturbance involving a "woman... chasing a man" and a "man... pushed the woman to the ground," according to the report. Police located the two suspects who admitted they were arguing but did not want to press charges.

Thursday, Oct. 16

2:28 p.m. Police were contacted about a civil dispute concerning an 89-year-old female who complained that her relatives had taken her vehicle. It was learned that a family member who had power of attorney was attempting to take care of her.

Friday, Oct. 17

11:10 a.m. Police were called to the Pea Ridge Middle School for a 13-year-old female student who had alcohol in her possession. The youth did test positive for alcohol consumption. She was released to the custody of a guardian and cited for minor in possession.

1:30 p.m. A resident of Lynn Drive came by the Police Station with two dogs she picked up when she saw them running loose near North Curtis Avenue and Tinnin Street. The dogs were taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. About 3:30 p.m. Jarred Wilson, 38, Pea Ridge, came to the station looking for dogs that matched the description. Wilson was cited for two counts of dog at large, two counts of no rabies tags and two counts of no city tags.

Saturday, Oct. 18

1:30 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Pickens Road at North Davis Street, police arrested Douglas A. Foltz, 31, Bentonville, on warrants for contempt of court from both Bentonville and Rogers. He was transferred to Rogers Police.

9:05 a.m. A resident of McCulloch Street reported criminal mischief involving damage to her mailbox and another mailbox missing.

10:10 a.m. A resident of McCulloch Street reported a mailbox was destroyed and several others nearby were damaged.

11 a.m. A resident of D.J. Duvall Drive reported animal cruelty involving a cat runnning around the area with a bag tied around its neck. Police were unable to locate the cat.

Sunday, Oct. 19

12 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Drew Lane for a resident who reported attempting to catch an opossum but caught an armadillo instead. She told police she didn't want to put the animal in her vehicle.
