What is 4-H?

4-H has been around for many decades having started with teaching young girls to can food and young boys to grow crops. 4-H is an exciting group that helps students to learn many life skills including leadership, public speaking, and social skills. 4-H is made up of many activities that include community service projects, showing in the fairs and going to camps and competitions locally and up to the national level.

4-H is an exciting group that definitely encourages the making of new friendships, not just from school, but all over the country. It teaches kids and young adults many skills that they can use further on in life such as social skills in meeting new people, collaborating with groups of people, and great team building exercises. These soft skills are essential for any person to have in today's society and workforce.
