Monday, Sept. 22

12:38 p.m. A resident of Benton Drive reported a small dog running around the neighborhood. Police picked up the dog, a white/cream colored dog. It was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

1:45 p.m. Police were asked by a Benton County Juvenile Probation officer to check on a resident of East Watie Street because she did not take her son to court and was reportedly very drunk. The woman tested .334 with a portable breathalyzer test. Police requested the ambulance at the scene. The woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Police stayed with the juvenile until he could be picked up by a responsible adult.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

8:46 a.m. Police picked up a tri-color, male dog from a resident who told police it was running at large in Givens subdivision. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

1:15 p.m. While at court in Pea Ridge, police were notified that Jerrod Brown, 37, of Rogers, who was present in court, was wanted on a warrant from Eureka Springs. Brown was taken to the Benton County Jail.

6 p.m. A 13-year-old male and his father reported "Beats" headphones missing from school. The incident is under investigation.

10:13 p.m. Police were notified by Walmart associates that an older lady took off on one of their shopping scooters. She was last seen heading northbound on Carr Street. The woman was found and she told officers she had permission to borrow the scooter as long as it was returned. A manager at Walmart did not want to press charges.

11:33 p.m. Police found an abandoned black Jeep Cherokee without a license plate parked in the westbound lane on Sugar Creek Road. The vehicle was impounded for the safety of other motorists.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

1:02 a.m. As the result of a traffic stop, police arrested Byron Jay Huntington, 50, Galveston, Texas, for DWI and refusal to submit to test.

4 p.m. An employee at Autumn Home Care reported that an employee gave her two-week notice, but did not return to work nor return her keys. Although the cost of the keys was about $6, the cost of replacing all exterior locks was about $200.

Thursday, Sept. 25

7:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Blair Circle for an animal complaint concerning a dog running loose. The dog, a brown and black shepherd mix, was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Friday, Sept. 26

2:22 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Smith Street for a physical disturbance in progress. The reporting party said a female had broken into the house and was causing a disturbance and then attempted to leave in a blue Ford Expedition. The woman had gotten into a fight with another woman. The victims did not want to press charges. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Lana Patterson, 50, Bentonville, for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. She was also given a no trespass warning for three residences, two on Smith Street and one on South Davis Street.

10:30 a.m. As a result of an investigation into thefts in the city, police arrested a 16-year-old male resident of Pea Ridge and recovered a bicycle that had been stolen from a residence on Lindsey Street. The youth was cited.

10:35 a.m. A resident of Pineville, Mo., reported receiving a "hot check" from a Pea Ridge resident for the purchase of property. The evidence was forwarded to a county prosecutor.

5 p.m. The owner of a business on Slack Street reported someone had backed into his fence along Ellis Lane more than eight times.

5:18 p.m. Police assisted at a two-vehicle motor-vehicle accident on Ark. Hwy. 72 (Slack Street) at Dove Road until State Police arrived.

Saturday, Sept. 27

12:32 a.m. A resident of Humphrey Street reported someone beat on her door and when she answered, there was no one there.

3:59 a.m. Police arrested Ronald Victor Filippone, 26, Rogers, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct as a result of an investigation at a business on Slack Street.

Sunday, Sept. 28

4:02 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on O.D. Bancroft Court for a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, police learned that the parties were separated. Neither person wanted to file charges.

Monday, Sept. 29

11:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hayden Road for a welfare check from Benton County Sheriff's Office. The women in question was found and was fine.

2:24 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge City Park for a criminal mischief involving "sticky tack" stuck to the slide with "thumb tacks sticking up." The reporting party said she removed the tacks and threw them away.

3:21 p.m. Police took a report on a private property accident that happened in the parking lot at the Post Office involving vehicles driven by Richard D. Wilks, 75, Pea Ridge, and Carol Sue Adams, 61, Alex, Okla.

6:40 p.m. A property owner reported trespassing on a lot on Lee Town Road. Police issued a no trespass warning to the suspect.
