Pea Ridge Middle School awards

• The "Most Improved End-of-Course Exam Growth from 2007 to 2013" Outstanding Educational Performance award given by the Office of Education Policy at the University of Arkansas. This award is given to schools who have shown the greatest improvement in test scores over the period of time.

• 2012 National Center for Educational Achievement Higher Performing school.

• Pea Ridge Middle School recognized by the Office of Educational Placement as one of the Best Middle Schools in Arkansas.

• According to the Arkansas Department of Education, Pea Ridge Middle School is the 5th best middle school in Arkansas in 2013 for Benchmark Math achievement; 16th best middle school in the state of Arkansas based on Math and Literacy test scores.

• Pea Ridge Middle School, Primary and Intermediate were awarded more than $70,000 from the State Department of Education for outstanding student achievement.

• In the spring of 2014, the middle school will complete a six-classroom addition

• 2011 Office for Education Policy recognized Pea Ridge as one of the top three middle schools in the northwest region, Bentonville and Fayetteville were the other two.

• In 2011/2012, results of the previous year's Benchmark scores included a Pea Ridge sixth grade score in math of 96 which was higher than all major school districts in northwest Arkansas and one of the highest in the state.

• Activities and programs for Pea Ridge Middle School students as 0f 2012 include integrated curriculum, FBLA, 1-4A conference football, basketball, track, cross country, cheerleading and volleyball, gifted and talented, band, choir, accelerated reader, quiz bowl, art and student council.
