Gospel singing set

A gospel singing will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Derry Camp's Auction Barn, 980 E. Pickens Road.

Everyone is invited to come and hear a good old gospel sing. Bring your instrument and join in or just sit and listen.

Guests are also invited to bring light snacks, finger foods or dessert.

Pinwheels for prevention set

Join the campaign to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Dave Peel Park in Bentonville. There will be a hot-dog lunch served.

Then at 1 p.m. place pinwheels for each confirmed child abuse case at several locations across Benton County including the Pea Ridge Police Department.

Spring clean-up set

Pea Ridge Spring Clean up is from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, through Friday, April 11, and from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12. The city will not provide curbside pick-up.

Dumpsters will be at the city property behind TH Rogers Lumber Company. All participants need to bring a form of identification and proof of city residency, for example, current paid water bill.

There is a maximum of three trips per household.

Items not accepted for disposal include household trash, construction material, anything containing freon or items too large to fit in the dumpster.
