Tuesday, June 17

7:45 a.m. During a traffic stop, police determined that a passenger, Ginger Lee Wells, 34, Gravette, was wanted on an active warrant from Centerton. She was arrested and taken to Benton County Jail.

5 p.m. Police were requested to assist Rogers Police in locating James Brown, 34, Pea Ridge. He was located, arrested and turned over to Rogers Police.

7 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Pickens Road for a stray dog. A small, black male Labrador puppy was picked up and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Wednesday, June 18

8:19 a.m. A resident of Halleck Lane reported a teen-aged girl from Missouri had come to the residence to see a juvenile male. The two were found sleeping in a "junk vehicle" in the back yard in the morning. The girl was returned to her guardian. The guardian said she had not reported the girl as a runaway when she left on her bicycle two days prior after an argument.

6:49 p.m. A resident of Bella Vista reported two juvenile males in a gray pickup truck sideswiped his vehicle breaking off his side-view mirror. He was northbound on South Curtis Ave.; the truck was southbound. The driver of the truck did not stop. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

Friday, June 20

12:44 p.m. Police were dispatched to a private property accident involving vehicles driven by Viola Hazelwood, 59, Rogers, and John Tucker, 48, Huntsville. As a result of the investigation, police arrested John James Tucker, 48, Huntsville, on a valid West Fork warrant and transported him to Benton County Jail.

3:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Patterson Road for a welfare check and found a deceased male who had apparently been dead for a couple of weeks. The coroner was called. The coroner said the 53-year-old man had been dead about 10 days. The coroner told police there did not appear to be any evidence of foul play and ruled "a natural cause death," according to the police report.

5:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Richards Street for a report of a runaway juvenile. A woman reported her 12-year-old son left the residence and she has been looking for him for an hour. The youth was found later with his father and allowed to stay there.

6:02 p.m. Police were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on O.D. Bancroft Lane regarding a woman "tearing up the garage and breaking ... stuff," according to the police report. Police determined the issue to be a civil matter and advised the people to contact an attorney.

Saturday, June 21

2:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to an alarm at Pea Ridge Primary School. The building was found to be secure.

2:38 p.m. Police were dispatched to an alarm at Pea Ridge Intermediate School; the building was found to be secure.

4:22 p.m. Police took a report of a two-vehicle accident that happened at the intersection of Slack and Weston streets involving vehicles driven by Dorothy A. Lynch, 80, Pea Ridge, and Brenda Hicks, 51, Pea Ridge.

7:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on John W. Montgomery Circle for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Charles Alan Walker, 50, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct and Cherry Merllyn Walker, 50, Pea Ridge, for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Both were transported to the Benton County Jail.

Sunday, June 22

3:14 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East McNelly Road for a suspicious circumstance involving something that was causing the family's dog to bark and growl. Upon arrival, police found the gate keypad broken and lying on the ground. Police searched the residence to check the security of it and found all doors and windows securely locked.

3:18 a.m. Police responded to an alarm call at Sonic and found a window slightly open and no signs of forced entry.

7:09 a.m. Police were dispatched to the Neighborhood Market for a burglary. A door was found forced open a slight amount. There was nothing reported missing.

11:44 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Benton Drive for a disturbance that was reportedly a continued issue from the previous night. As a result of the investigation, police told the couple it was a civil matter.

11:45 a.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported a noise complaint involving people screaming. As a result of the investigation, police said they found about seven people walking down the street singing, not yelling and screaming.

1:11 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Weston Street for a stray dog that had been picked up. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
