Monday, June 2

2:35 p.m. While on patrol, police saw a vehicle stuck in the mud in a field north of Summit Meadows. There were four juvenile males on the scene. One 16-year-old male from Garfield admitted to driving the vehicle and said he stole it from his parents. He did not have a valid driver's license. He was charged with criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a vehicle and no driver's license.

6:30 p.m. Police assisted Little Flock Police with serving a felony warrant on Paul Whitehorn, 37, Rogers.

9:53 p.m. A resident of Park Circle reported hearing a gunshot. Police were unable to locate the source of the noise.

10:15 p.m. While on routine patrol, police found a door open on the Pea Ridge Intermediate School building.

Tuesday, June 3

6:19 a.m. A resident of Baker Street reported his residence had been "egged." The resident reported a similar incident May 28.

10:15 a.m. Police were notified of a private-property vehicle accident at Pea Ridge High School. A 16-year-old male told police a 17-year-old male had backed into his vehicle, said he was sorry and drove off. Police found and questioned the suspect and cited him for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. This was his second offense for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

12:07 p.m. Police were called to a vehicle accident involving vehicles driven by James B. Curran, 31, Poteau, Okla., and Robert C. Anderson, 67, Springdale. According to the report, Curran turned northbound on Hayden Road from Todd Circle as Anderson, pulling a mobile home, was southbound in both lanes of traffic. Curran told police he tried to avoid a collision but the side of the mobile home struck the side of his vehicle.

Wednesday, June 4

11:30 a.m. A resident of Richards Street reported her neighbor accosted her children who were attempting to enter their home through a window after they lost their house key. She said she and the neighbor yelled at one another, but she did not want to press charges. Both parties were advised to stay off one another's property.

7:39 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported accidentally leaving her wallet at White Oak Station and said upon returning, she could not find it.

8:28 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported an employee took a power drill and other equipment without permission. Police contacted deputies where the man was believed to be staying; the suspect was contacted and agreed to return the equipment. No charges were filed.

Thursday, June 5

6:21 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Primary School, staff members were on the scene.

7:42 p.m. A resident of Hazelton Road reported a theft involving a flag and flag pole being taken.

Friday, June 6

10:45 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hutchinson Street for a physical disturbance in progress. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Christopher Story, 28, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic assault and booked him into the Benton County Jail. Kimberlee Story, 37, Pea Ridge, was cited for obstructing governmental operations.

3 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge reported leaving his wallet at Dollar General store.

8:41 p.m. A resident of Pea Ridge called requesting a restraining order; she was informed that was a civil matter she needs to discuss with a lawyer.

Saturday, June 7

6 a.m. A resident of McRae Lane reported an unknown male was outside her residence looking in the window. There was no evidence of a prowler.

Monday, June 9

8:49 a.m. A resident of Ford Street reported a laptop computer was missing and he believed it to be stolen.

11:24 a.m. Police were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on Sugar Creek Road just east of the intersection with Ark. Hwy. 94 involving a vehicle driven by Chelsie F. Robertson, 22, Pea Ridge, who told police she tried to avoid crows, one hit her windshield, and she hit the brick retaining wall on the north side of the road when she was unable to turn the steering wheel of her vehicle.
