New Meadowbrook Ext. Homemakers Club
Members of the New Meadowbrook Extension Homemaker's Club met at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the First Baptist Church in Garfield. President Karen Launderville brought the meeting to order and Roxie Geddie gave the devotions.
The next meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 27 with a potluck picnic at the home of Roxie Geddie.
There were announcements of the upcoming fair and of those working to sign up on certain days and hours and of the breakfast that will be served on the Labor Day weekend by the NEBCO Fire Department in the Community Center.
There was discussion of the booth to be set up at the County Fair, and of the upcoming activities at the Extension Office of the Lessons and Workshops.
