Fourth of July celebrations

Fireworks on July 2

"Bringing Life and Hope," a Fourth of July celebration, is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at River of Faith Church. There will be games, food, fun, music, fireworks. Everything is free. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a night of celebration and fun with their families.

From Pea Ridge High School, go north on Hayden Road (Ark. Hwy. 265) for five miles until you see the sign.

Fireworks slated

SELIGMAN, Mo. -- Seligman Fourth of July celebration will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, July 4, at the Seligman City Community building at Elsie Corn Park. There will be fireworks at dark, free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks. The city is providing fireworks. The Seligman Chamber is furnishing the food. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the fellowship and fun. No alcohol allowed. For information, call 417-662-3600 or 662-3612.

Fireworks, concerts planned

BELLA VISTA -- Bella Vista's annual Independence Day fireworks display is scheduled for Thursday, July 3, at the Loch Lomond dam off Glasgow Road.

The fireworks, which are sponsored by the city of Bella Vista, will begin at dusk, or shortly after 9:30 p.m. Attendees may park anywhere that's not designated as a "no parking" area.

Prior to the fireworks display, Charlie Chrysler & His All Stars will perform a free concert from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Loch Lomond Recreation Complex's softball field, also off Glasgow.

The Bella Vista Community Concert Band will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, July 4, at Blowing Springs Park.

Dinner will be served by the Bella Vista Sunrise Rotary Club beginning at 5:30. The concert is free, and all dinner proceeds go to charity. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the music.
