Jennifer Anthony was the high scorer Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Lady Blackhawks game at Ozark. The Jr. Lady 'Hawks lost to Ozark 35-17.
Other scorers were Melissa Landis 5, Hailey Nesbitt 2, Avery Dayberry 2 and Kiley West 2.
"We were without post players Maggie Fletcher and Rachel Wood because of injuries," coach Rick Jones said.
The season record is 6 and 7 with the conference record at 2 and 2.
In the eighth-grade game, Pea Ridge lost by a final score of 17 to 16.
Kiley West had 6, Catherine Hooten 6, Sonny Olson 2 and Anika Walls 2.
There will be a make-up game at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Gentry with Jr. boys and Jr. girls only.
The Jr. Blackhawks will play Thursday, Jan. 23, at Lincoln with the eighth-grade girls playing at 4 p.m.
