Three journalism students from Pea Ridge High School will cover high school sports this spring.
Wyatt Holtgrewe, Gage Kelso and Jack Rapp are seniors in the journalism class of Mrs. Roxanne Enix. The young men will attend basketball games and write stories for The TIMES of Northeast Benton County.
Holtgrewe, 17, is the son of Chris and Linda Holtgrewe. He plays basketball and runs cross country. He said he is planning to try out for baseball. Holtgrewe said he is interested in sports journalism. He said he plans to attend college after graduation.
Kelso, 17, is the son of Bryan and Randi-Jo Kelso and plays basketball, baseball and runs cross country. He said he plans to attend college after graduation.
Rapp, 18, is the son of Mitch and Christy Brown. He played football and ran track. He said he hopes to attend college and travel after graduation.
"We are excited about the students' involvement and look forward to working with them this year," Annette Beard, managing editor, said. "We're grateful for Mrs. Enix and her encouragement to the students to get involved."
