Monday, Feb. 17

9:22 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Ash Court for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Christopher Felt, 43, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic battery, false imprisonment and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Feb. 19

9:52 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Davis Street in reference to someone hitting a gas meter and gas escaping from the gas meter. Firefighters from the Pea Ridge Fire Department arrived on the scene, shut off the leaking gas and notified the gas company.

3:35 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Watie for a physical disturbance in progress. A Benton County Sheriff's Office deputy arrived, too. As a result of the investigation, police arrested two 16-year-old males, both of Pea Ridge. One was cited for minor in possession. He blew a .05 on a portable breathalyzer. The other male was arrested for domestic assault and public intoxication and taken to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

3:55 p.m. A resident of Blair Circle reported a missing child, but then learned that a caseworker from Department of Human Services had picked the child up.

6:52 p.m. Police were dispatched to a verbal disturbance at a residence on Hutchinson Street. Both the male and female residents of the home agreed they had been arguing; the male agreed to leave the residence for the night. No charges were filed.

7:47 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Ash Court for a civil call. The caller reported she was waiting for an officer to pick up a laptop computer in reference to a previous report of a domestic assault. The caller reported finding child pornography on a computer. The computer was taken as evidence.

8:37 p.m. Police were dispatched to an alarm at the gym at Pea Ridge High School. The building was found to be secure.

10:13 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on North Curtis Avenue for a possible drunk driver. Upon making contact with the suspect, police determined that the passenger had been drinking, but the driver had not.

Thursday, Feb. 20

8 a.m. Police were requested to investigate a theft that occurred on a school bus. School officials investigated a fight that happened on the bus Wednesday afternoon. A cell phone was reportedly stolen during the fight. The cell phone reported stolen was recovered Thursday morning by school officials. It was damaged and the SIM card was missing. School officials disciplined students for the fight; police cited a 13-year-old male student for theft of property and released him to his parent.

11:15 a.m. Pea Ridge Police were requested by a Benton County Sheriff's Office deputy to meet at the Lutheran Church on Arkansas Highway 94 in reference to two young children he had located while answering a call. The two -- a girl, 8, and a male, 10 -- had gone to a residence on Arkansas Highway 94 and said they were hungry, had been walking from Florida and were foster children. It was determined that the children, who were related, actually lived in a residence in Pea Ridge. They were taken to that residence and returned to the parents.

12:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to a dog at large call on Hutchinson Street; two large white dogs were observed running around the neighborhood. Both were captured and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

1:25 p.m. While at the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic, a city resident brought in a shepherd-mix dog he said had been chasing his cattle. There was a tag on the dog, who was owned by a Bentonville resident that she was leaving the dog with a relative in Pea Ridge. She said she didn't want to pick up the dog if she was going to get a ticket.

2 p.m. During an investigation into a disturbance at a residence on East Watie Street on Wednesday, police saw two infant baboons in the residence. They notified Arkansas Game & Fish and warden Jacob Dunn, joined Pea Ridge Police and returned to the home Thursday. The female resident said she worked for the animal park in Gentry and that the animals needed to be fed every three hours. Dunn told Melissa Knobbe, 38, Pea Ridge, that the animals must be removed from the home within 24 hours.

Friday, Feb. 21

1:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic for found animals. Two women from Pineville, Mo., told police they found five Pit Bull-mix puppies in a cardboard box near the car wash on North Curtis Avenue. They told police they gathered the puppies because they feared for the safety of the puppies and when doing so, one bit one of the women, who declined medical attention. The puppies were placed in the Vet Clinic. The puppy which bit the woman was quarantined.

6 p.m. Police took a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a truck driven by Jackson L. Abercrombie, 25, Pea Ridge, and a truck owned by Kenneth Tyree, Pea Ridge, which was parked on Poten Spur. There were no citations issued.

Saturday, Feb. 22

1 p.m. A resident of Washburn Street reported a 19-year-old male contributing to the delinquency of a 14-year-old female. The incident is under investigation.

Sunday, Feb. 23

12:59 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Christopher A. Graves, 19, Rogers, for minor in possession. He was a passenger in the vehicle. The driver was given a warning for failing to signal.

Monday, Feb. 24

7:30 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Pickens Road to take a report of a vehicle break-in. The vehicle had been left unlocked. the car stereo appeared to have been pulled out. Items missing included the stereo and a tool bag containing tools, as well as possibly keys to the gas cap. Shortly after that call, police were notified of a break-in at a business nearby. The front are of the shop had been ransacked; several items including an Android tablet and a laptop computer were missing. A window had been broken. Another vehicle at that business had been broken into. During the investigation, police found the missing items, and items missing from the vehicle break-in at the residence.

7:50 a.m. While observing school traffic, police observed two persons pull into a parking lot off Weston Street who had apparently been involved in a motor-vehicle accident. As a result of the investigation, police cited Herman C. Morgan, 34, Pea Ridge, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. The accident was involving vehicles driven by Morgan, and Jenifer Ann Spencer, 40, Garfield.

11:15 a.m. Police were notified that a resident of John W. Montgomery Circle said two dogs followed her home. Street Department employees and police caught the two dogs; while they were being taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic, two more dogs ran after the truck. Police caught one of those two dogs. The three dogs were placed in an outside kennel at Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
