Blackhawks tied for 3rd in 4A-1

Pea Ridge traveled to Gravette for a battle for third place in the 4A-1 Conference.

With a win the Blackhawks pulled even with the Lions Thursday night.

The 'Hawks started off hot from 3 with Zach Davis and Blake Sheppard hitting multiples in the first quarter. Leading 14 to 13 going into the second quarter, they kept their hot shooting going with both Wyatt Holtgrewe and Lloyd Kalberloh hitting from deep. Pea Ridge was leading 31- 26 going into the half.

Sheppard continued his hot shooting night hitting on two 3s to start off the second half. Now all the 'Hawks needed was the task of stopping the top scorer in the league. They did their job and held off a late surge by Gravette. They won the game 67-54 ending the night in a tie at third place.

Sheppard led the team with 19, Davis and Holtgrewe had 11; Logan Rose chipped in 10; Nick Hardy had 9; Gage Kelso had 4; and Kalberloh had 3.
