Friday night was a memorable game for the seniors on the Blackhawk basketball team. It was their last home high school basketball game of the season and they wanted to leave it with a win.
Berryville traveled to Pea Ridge for a conference battle and wanted to take one from Pea Ridge. The first quarter was an exciting start to the game with it ending 10-12 in the Bobcats' favor. During the second quarter, the 'Hawks and Bobcats continues their attack on the offensive side with Berryville taking 24-22 lead off of a 3 at the buzzer going in the half-time.
Pea Ridge came out in the third firing and took the lead and kept it for good. The 'Hawks outscored the Bobcats 15-11 in the third taking a 39-33 lead going into the fourth quarter.
During the fourth, Berryville's top scorer went cold and couldn't bring his team back, with the 'Hawks outscoring the Bobcats 14-8 in the fourth quarter, leading to a 51-43 Blackhawk victory.
Gage Kelso and Zach Davis led the Blackhawks with 11 points, Tristan Trundle had 9, Logan Rose pitched 8, Wyatt Holtgrewe had 5, Nick hardy had 4 and Blake Sheppard finished the Blackhawk scoring with 3 points.
