Tuesday, Jan. 28

3:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to McDonald's for a criminal mischief involving damage to three employees' vehicles from rocks thrown at the windshields and the paint scratched.

7:39 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Jenks Court for a reported attempted suicide. A 57-year-old male was transported to the hospital and later declared dead by the county coroner.

Thursday, Jan. 30

10:15 a.m. A resident of Washburn Drive reported the theft of a World War II bayonet from an outbuilding.

3:50 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a 911 hangup call. It was determined there was no emergency; a child was playing with a phone.

7:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of W.M.B. Franklin Court in reference to a black and white Boston terrier running loose in the area. It was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

7:30 p.m. A resident of Lynn Drive requested extra patrol because they believed someone had been stealing fuel from vehicles in the area.

Friday, Jan. 31

1:55 a.m. Police were notified of a break-in at the Erwin impound yard on Slack Street. Upon arrival, police found a hole cut the fence. Police called the Benton County Sheriff's Office; deputies ran a dog through the yard. The owner of the impound yard, Jim Erwin found one vehicle was tampered with from which it appeared some items were missing. Police arrested Jordan Vierra, 22, Pea Ridge, at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, on a warrant felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

9 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Davis Street for three dogs running loose. The dogs were returned to the owner, Jimmy Holley, 43, Pea Ridge, and cited for three counts of dog at large. City tags were valid.

3 p.m. Police arrested Dustin E. Williams, 38, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance and Dakota Ryan Robinson, 27, Pea Ridge, on a warrant for Rogers, and booked them into the Benton County Jail.

7:35 p.m. Police assisted Benton County Sheriff's deputies in locating a resident on Ash Court. When contact was made, she was told to call the Sheriff's Office.

10:28 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Harvey Wakefield for a report of a gunshot.

Saturday, Feb. 1

8:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to North Curtis Avenue for a report of a vehicle hitting a dog in front of Fred's. The body of the dead dog was picked up and removed from the street.

5:20 p.m. Police confirmed a contempt failure to pay fines and costs warrant on Jeremy T. Ramsey, 26, Pea Ridge, who was picked up by Benton County Sheriff's deputies. He was booked into the Benton County Jail.

5:50 p.m. Employees at White Oak reported criminal mischief involving sugar on the end of two gas pump nozzles which apparently came from sugar placed in the opening of a gas tank of a customer's vehicle. The customer used two pumps and neither would work properly after that. It was determined that the sugar came from the customer, who said it could have happened at her home which is in McDonald County, Mo. She was advised to report the incident to McDonald County Sheriff's Office.

9:05 p.m. Police received a report of a wounded, large tan dog walking around Kings Lane apartments. Police located the dog which was with its owner and was fine.

9:43 p.m. Police were requested by Rogers police to escort a woman to her home just outside of Pea Ridge because she is afraid of her ex-husband.

Sunday, Feb. 2

12:14 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Eagle Crest for a trespassing in progress. Upon arrival, police saw a male walking away from the front door which was partially open. Police determined there was no protection order against the man, who was the husband of the resident. He was issued a verbal no trespass warning.
