Monday, April 21
4 p.m. While on patrol, police saw a large black and white dog in the middle of Ark. Hwy. 72 near It'll Do Road causing a traffic hazard with drivers trying to avoid hitting the dog. The dog was caught and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Tuesday, April 22
10:19 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on West Patton Street for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Shawn Timothy Gleason, 45, Pea Ridge, for felony battery.
Wednesday, April 23
11:23 p.m. A resident of Frost Street reported a breaking or entering of a vehicle in progress. The resident reported hearing the car alarm go off and seeing a young male run away from the car towards South Davis Street. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
Thursday, April 24
10:46 a.m. A resident of Barnes Circle reported two stray dogs were found in the road and she secured them in her yard to keep them safe. Police picked up the dogs -- a black lab-retriever mix and a black and white heeler mix with no collars. The dogs were impounded into the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Friday, April 25
1:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Frost Street for a physical disturbance in progress. While on the way, police saw two people walking eastbound on the street who matched the description of the suspects. As a result of a search of the area, the suspects were located east of there, arrested and returned to the residence for the investigation. As a result of the investigation, Kyle Scott Mitchell, 19, Pea Ridge, was arrested for third-degree battery and issued a no trespass warning for the residence on Frost Street. He was booked into the Benton County Jail. Jessica Sueann Harrison, 19, Bella Vista, was cited for third-degree battery.
2:10 p.m. Tyler Roberts, 21, Springdale, was cited for dog at large when he arrived at the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic to pick up his dog that had been taken in by a police officer.
2:20 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on North Davis Street for a civil/disturbance call. A man was at the residence to pick up a car that he claimed had fictitious tags and actually belonged to him. AS a result of the investigation, it was determined that it was a civil matter.
11:04 p.m. Police were dispatched to an apartment on East Pickens Road for a possible disturbance. The caller also advised she needed an ambulance to check on a man who had a plate broken over his head and had blood all over his face. It was determined the injury was self-inflicted. The man refused medical treatment.
Saturday, April 26
6:37 a.m. An employee of White Oak Station reported a black and brown Chihuahua without a collar had gotten into the store and was running around barking at people. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
12:10 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, Amanda Clutter, 34, Pea Ridge, was cited for driving while license suspended for DWI-related offense, no proof of insurance, fictitious tags and failure to register. The car was impounded.
Sunday, April 27
5:43 p.m. A burglary was reported at Big Sugar Golf Course. The complainant reported a screen torn off one of the windows and a window broken. A door was found unlocked.
