Granny's Quilts of Love
Granny's Quilts of Love met at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. Twenty-one members and four guests were present. Guests were Mary Bredl, Bea Keller, Diane McCoy and Gayle Turner. Nancy Davis gave the prayer.
We now have a total of 17,394 quilts, 4,317 pillows and 1,738 hats that have been sent to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
The ladies cut 120 quilt kits. There was discussion regarding the auction. Thank you Donna Beaver, Sonja Ewing and Cinda Wooldridge for decorating the Community Public Library with information about Granny's Quilts of Love and also for St. Patrick's Day.
The next meeting will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge. For information, contact Mary Margaret Webb at 451-8640.
