The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Fred and Mabel McKinney would like to invite friends and family to help Fred and Mabel celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at the Heritage Building on the Pea Ridge School campus.
Fred McKinney and the former Mabel Webb, both of Pea Ridge, were married on April 8, 1944, in the home of the Rev. A. J. Deason.
The reception will be hosted by son Doug and his wife, Rozella, McKinney of Pea Ridge; daughters, Jane and her husband, Doug, Cooley of Pea Ridge; Peggy and her husband, Ronnie, David of Rogers; and Andrea and her husband, Harvey, Ricketts of Pea Ridge.
The couple has 10 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
The omission of gifts is requested.
