◊10/22 Timothy Wayne Wood, 33, Pea Ridge, for contempt failure to pay fines and costs

◊10/22 Lelen Powell , 26, Fayetteville, failure to appear Monday, Oct. 21

9 a.m. A 16-year-old female student of Pea Ridge High School reported she had still not found her cell phone which she initially reported missing on Oct. 16. The incident is still under investigation.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

8:30 a.m. As a result of a traÿ c stop on Lee Town Road, police cited Nathan B. Frihart, 25, Bella Vista, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and no proof of insurance.

11 a.m. The manager of Marvin’s IGA reported theft involving the same person writing checks on a bank account that is closed and purchasing prepaid money cards as well as other items.

2:30 p.m. While at court, police heard a male using obscene, vulgar language loudly enough to be heard by other persons in the courtroom. When questioned, the male appeared to be impaired. As a result of the investigation, police cited Jerrod Wynne, 26, Decatur, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

1:15 p.m. A resident of Bentonville reported that her 12-year-old daughter had lost her iPhone 5 at Dollar General in Pea Ridge and the phone was being used by someone. The incident is underinvestigation.

5 p.m. Police were dispatched to Hallack Lane for a welfare check. Police learned there is a civil matter involved.

Thursday, Oct. 24

12:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Bloxham and Cardin roads for a vehicle crash reportedly also involving a weapon and threats. Police investigated the incident as an agency assist for Benton County Sheriff’s Oÿce, as deputies were detained in another area of the county. It was determined the incident was a disturbance;

the subjects declined to press charges and no weapon was found. No damage was found to either vehicle.

6:34 p.m. A resident of West Patton Street reported theft of property involving furniture and other items including children’s toys were stolen from her carport.

9 p.m. As a result of a traÿ c stop, police arrested Eliseo Alvarez, 24, Bella Vista, for driving on a suspended driver’s license, suspended for DWI.

Friday, Oct. 25

1:34 p.m. While on routine patrol, police noticed a male acting suspiciously in the area of McNair and Chapman streets. After investigation, police arrested Morgan Fisher, 36, Pea Ridge, on an outstanding warrant from Benton County.

Saturday, Oct. 26

6:15 p.m. A resident of St. Clair Street reported a suspicious vehicle driving in her neighborhood. It was determined that vehicle was being driven by a man planning to repossess a vehicle.

10:15 p.m. A resident of W.M.B Franklin reported an aggressive dog at his front door who growled at him. Police found the dog’s owner and warned him. The man reported the dog had been on a chain and had escaped.

10:27 p.m. An anonymous caller complained about noise coming from a residence on Smith Street. Police could hear loud music as well as yelling and screaming coming from the backyard of the house. The homeowner was contacted and advised to be quiet.

10:43 p.m. A resident of Hickman Drive reported receiving harassing telephone calls. The suspect and reporting party were each contacted and warned to stay away from one another.

Sunday, Oct. 27

11:30 a.m. Police caught a dog on Lee Town Drive.The dog had a collar and broken leash but no city or rabies tags. It was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

3:55 p.m. A resident of Luke Street reported catching a white and gray Schnauzer and telling police she could not find its owner. The dog was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Monday, Oct. 28

7:50 a.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported involving a vehicle driven by Cheyenne Luper, 19, Pea Ridge, which hit a deer on South Curtis Avenue near Sugar Creek.

10:26 a.m. Police were dispatchedto Charles Street for a pack of dogs running at large. Three dogs were located.

According to the police report, the dogs acted “very aggressively … charging, growling and barking.”The dogs were recognized from previous incidents, a hole and broken board were found in the fence of the yard where they belonged. No owners were located.The dogs were put back in the yard.

10:50 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Humphrey Street for a dog bite complaint. A 55-year-old female reported she had been attacked by a group of dogs and bitten by one.

She said she had been jogging and was chased by the dogs.

12:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to the are of John W. Montgomery Circle for a dog at large complaint; the dogs were not located.

2:31 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Weston and McCulloch streets for a dog running at large but were unable to find the dog.

3 p.m. Police picked up two dogs running at large on John W. Montgomery Circle; both were taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

4:50 p.m. Police assisted with a report of a structure fire on Charles Street. It was discovered the resident was burning a mattress in the back yard. The resident, Suzanne Adams-White, 52, Pea Ridge, was cited for illegal burning.
