Red Ribbon Week for drug free

The students at Pea Ridge High School participated in Red Ribbon Week last week Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.

◊All students grades 9-12 were given a red ribbon on Monday in their second hour class to wear each day during the week to show their support for being drug free. The ribbons were numbered and drawings were held Tuesday through Friday and door prizes were awarded to students who were wearing their ribbons.

◊Students helped their sixth-hour teacher decorate their classroom door in support of Red Ribbon Week. The group with the most creative doorincluding an informative drug free message won a party on Friday. Mrs.

Kilee Luthi’s sixth-hourfood and nutrition class won the door decoration contest.

◊Students and staff were encouraged to wear red on Friday in support of the conclusion of Red Ribbon week.
