Dance slated

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The Seligman Lions Club monthly dance is 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Seligman Community Building, 29144 S. Main St., Seligman. Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs are the featured band. There is a $4 cover charge at the door. All proceeds will go to the Diabetes Association. For information, call 417-846-5355 or 417-846-3024.

Special dance set

SELIGMAN, Mo. - A country dance is set as a Saturday Night Special Dance at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, by the Seligman Chamber of Commerce, at the Seligman Chamber Event Center, Missouri Highway 37. The special band will be O.K. Country from Springdale, Ark. Entry is $4 each, teens 18 and under are free. Bring a snack and enjoy the fun. No alcohol or smoking allowed.

There is a new dance fl oor, the room will be decorated.The regular dance is the third Thursday of each month. For information, call 417-662-3611.

Post office meeting set

SELIGMAN, Mo. - A postal meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov.

13, at the Seligman Chamber Event Center.

This meeting is to get input on what hours the public would like to see the Seligman Post o◊ce open and how the o◊ce can benefit the community better. A U.S. Postal Service representative will be at this meeting to answer questions.

Bella Vista POA kicks off season

Join the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association on Nov. 30 for a celebration to kick o◊the holiday season.

The association’s secondannual Dazzling Village Lights will feature lighted trees and outdoor holiday décor from Nov. 30 through Jan. 3, as they walk or drive along the Kingsdale Complex on Riordan Road.

The month-long display will begin with opening day festivities from 4 to 7 p.m.

Nov. 30 at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive. Indoor and outdoor activities for the entire family will be available. The lighting will occur at 6:30 p.m.

The event will featureholiday crafts for children, carnival games, carolers, pony and carriage rides, a cake dance and a Making Memories photo booth.

Additionally, parents are encouraged to bring a camera to capture a photo of their children with Santa Claus.

The event is free and open to the public. The association will, however, be collecting nonperishable food items for local pantries.
