A 62-year-old man remained behind bars nearly a week after being arrestedfor sexual assault of a pre-teen girl.
The girl’s parents took her to the Pea Ridge police station Wednesday, Jan. 2, after she told her parents the man had molested her.
Police interviewed a number of people, then they interviewed the girl at the Children’s Advocacy Center.
The investigation revealed that the man, a relative, had touched her inappropriately.
As a result of the investigation, Larry Dale Brown, 62, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for second-degree sexual assault. He remained incarcerated Tuesday in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
