Believer’s Fellowship prophecy series

Believer’s Fellowship is hosting a DVD series “What in the World is Going On ?”by Dr. David Jeremiah.

The series will explore “10 prophetic clues you cannot afford to ignore.” The series began at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 and will last for 10 weeks. Believer’s Fellowship is currently meeting at the Fellowship Bible Church at 540 East Twin Springs. For more information call 479-957-1734.

Grace Children’s Choir School

Grace Children’s Choir School, under the direction of Terri Wubbena, will start its fourth season in Siloam Springs. The choir is open for enrollment. This choir school takes a very educationally-focused approach, giving its young choristers musical skills and an understanding of worship that will last a lifetime. The choir will rehearse 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays beginning Sept. 9 and continuing through the academic school year. Through its participation in the Royal School of Church Music,it will provide a structured and leveled learning environment individualized to each chorister’s heart and voice. Enrollment is for second through eighth graders. There will be an informational meeting at 3:15 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25 at Grace Episcopal Church. Women’s Living Beyond Yourself Bible study

First Baptist Church will hold a Living Beyond Yourself/Fruits of the Spirit Beth Moore Bible Study from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursdays, Sept. 5 through Nov. 28, in the church parlor. The cost of the book for the study is $15. Cassie Perryman will be the study facilitator. Childcare will be available. The First Baptist Church is located at 2000 Dawn Hill Road. Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary’s

Hope’s Kitchen at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church provides free meals on the last Friday of each month. The homeless, needy, elderly, unemployed, lonely and any families with children out of school for the summer are invited to the free home cooked meal. The kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 30. The church is located at 1998 U.S. Highway 412 next to 2 B’s Auto Sales. To donate call 524-8642.

Grace On Tap

Grace Episcopal Church will hold ‘Grace on Tap’ at 7 p.m. each Wednesday at 28 Springs. The class will follow Phyllis Tickle’s “Embracing Emergence Christianity” series. Book sale at The Tattered Page

The Tattered Page is having a buy two, get one free sale of used Christian books with topics ranging from Christian Living, fiction, study, self-help, parenting and Bibles. The Tattered Page also accepts donations of books. The Tattered Page is open Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. All sales support Kind at Heart Ministries, which helps those in need, especially widows, elderly and disabled by sharing hope through kindness. The Community Storehouse, a ministry of Overdrive Church that provides necessities to families in need, is looking for volunteers for the following times: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Volunteers will meet with guests, enter information into a database, sort through and process donations and make deliveries to those who are unable to come to the Storehouse. Other tasks may be done on an as-needed basis. If interested, call Cassandra Whitaker at 479-228-2534.

Mothering Matters

Mothering Matters, a ministry of Siloam Springs Bible Church, is designed to minister to mothers of young children. Meetings will be generally held the first and third Fridays of each month. Main meetings on the first Fridays will feature a speaker and group discussions. Care groups will meet on the third Friday. This year will be a study using the book “Desperate, Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breath” by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson. Mothering Matters provides child care for infants through pre-kindergarten and homeschoolers. Call 918-641-4889.
