PEA RIDGE — For an annual contribution of $30, the Pea Ridge Optimist Club will place a 3- by 5-foot American flag with a 10-foot metal pole curbside on the seven holidays days designated.
A metal sleeve will be installed 15 inches from the curb/edge of the road orfrom a mailbox, in which to place the flagpole.
Contributions will support community service projects for youth in the community, such as a college scholarship, essay contests, oratorical contests and various Optimist projects and programs.
