PEA RIDGE — The H.I.P.P.Y. class of 2012 received their certificates and awards on May 29, for participation in the 3-, 4- and 5-year-old programs.
H.I.P.P.Y. is an acronymfor Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters. The program is a two- to three-year home-based program that helps the parents prepare their children for kindergarten.
The program is provided to area families by the Pea Ridge Schools and the Boston Mountain Educational Co-op. This program is free to those who qualify.
Sign-ups for the fall season is beginning now. Thechild must be 3 years old by Aug. 1, 2012.
